Birthday Celebrations

Tahun ni memang sengaja tak buat party untuk Umar and Kasih. We (Ben and me) were thinking of nak buat sekali harung aje untuk diorang next year. I mean, ada la masa lebih sikit for me to put aside some money untuk apa-apa yang patut - decorations, F&B, goodie bags, etc. Nasib baik ada orang tu kerjanya memang buat event, so bab vendor hopefully takde masalah la..

Anyway.. A little update on how we celebrate our birthdays this year:

1) Mine

Dinner at Chili's, KLCC with Mayang, ZZ, Jue, and the husbands :D

Umar and kasih are not in the picture by the way..

Cake wajib ada :D
Tengah-tengah kusyuk buat kerja, tiba-tiba ada pulak suara orang
menyanyi-nyanyi and muncul cake dari belakang. Haha!
Dapat buku (since they know that I loveeeeee to read!) la.. Chocolates la..
So sweet of them :)

2) Umar

 Memang sengaja aku bagi peluang kat Umar to celebrate his birthday at school

with all the teachers and his friends without Ben and me around.

Sebab malamnya nanti kitorang nak bawak dia keluar,

takde la dia rasa asyik nak kena berkepit aje kan. Haha!

So we all hantar aje cake and goodie bags to the school,

and diorang buat la during tea time :)

3) Kasih

On her birthday, we just had a simple makan-makan at home

and baca doa selamat sikit with family members..

Masa nak tiup lilin tu dia panjang aje lilin tu. Haha!

Nak tiup pun tak tau lagi, so abang-abang dia yang dah besar-besar tu la

yang tolong tiupkan :D

August updates..

Oi! September dah nak habis baru nak cerita pasal August?? Haha! What to do.. Busy (jawapan cliche) :D Seriously. I'm busy. Masa banyak dihabiskan dengan anak-anak aje bila dah sampai rumah tu..

Well, August is our birthday month. Umar and me. No party or whatsoever, yet :D Just a simple makan-makan and baca doa selamat sikit at home with family members..

August babies

Mungkin ada yang dah tau that Umar's and my birthday fall on the same month :) Dah sebulan berlalu, baru la I got the chance to update a little bit on our birthday celebration. Tak celebrate besar-besaran pun sebab during bulan puasa kan..

Had a simple ceremony during Iftar at Istana Bambu with close friends. Luckily the food was quite OK. Aku kan ada issue dengan Istana Bambu before. Haha!

So terubat la sikit hati aku malam tu..

Abah baca doa selamat sikit sempena birthday Umar on the 13th itself.

We bought an ice-cream cake from Baskin Robbins,

dok tunjuk aje apa yang ada on the display.

 And some balloons from a party shop in Wangsa Walk Mall..

Jadi la :D Memang seronok budak-budak tu semua dapat potong cake and main belon :D

Oh, and 1 more thing. We are going to make a party for Umar on Saturday, 6th of October. Soccer party this time :) To those yang dah dapat invitation, hope to see you there!

Birthday Party at KL Bird Park

Aunty Farah (kawan Makcu) organized a birthday party for her 3 kids at KL Bird Park and we were invited. It was our 2nd time ke Bird Park la kiranya and I was thinking, this time mesti Umar lagi seronok sebab ada ramai budak-budak kan. Dah la mamat tu memang suka berkawan sekarang ni. True enough, he was so excited! Running around all over the place and trying to mingle with the other kids and dancing and laughing..

Package untuk buat birthday party kat KL Bird Park ni menarik jugak I must say. We had our breakfast at the Hornbill Restaurant & Cafe dulu lepas register, then we did the tour around the Bird Park, went to see the bird show and all.. Later went back to the restaurant for lunch.. Kali ni Umar ada baik sikit compared to the last time we all pergi Bird Park. Tengok bird show pun dia duduk diam sampai nak dekat habis. Towards the end tu aje dia restless la jugak maybe sebab panas and mengantuk agaknya.. During our lunch tu kan, some of the kids and their mommies ada buat show main angklung tau. 2 separate sessions actually.. Very interesting!

Sambutan hari lahir Mak..

Red Velvet Cake from Bisou KLCC

Kitorang semua celebrate birthday Mak yang ke-61 semalam at d'SUARANG. It was a very simple ceremony but yet so meriah dengan kehadiran family members semua. Makanan punya la banyak sebab kitorang buat potluck kan, sampai terduduk kekenyangan la aku :D

Untuk Mak, Liza doakan semoga Mak panjang umur dan murah rezeki. Liza cuma nak Mak tau yang Liza sayangkan Mak macam Liza sayangkan arwah Mak Liza. Walaupun Liza tak tunjuk sayang Liza tu, tapi Mak tetap di hati..

Azim's Birthday

It was fun.. The food was great.. Most of the decorations were done by Ben and his brother. Yang lain-lain tolong pasang, tolong gunting and tolong tampal :D

On that day Umar patut jadi Red Indian sama macam Ben but we couldn't find his brown shirt and pants, so terpaksa la pakai aje apa yang ada..

Ni anak kacukan namanya..

My dad's 55th birthday

Today, 2 September 2008 is my dad's 55th birthday. We all takde la celebrate besar-besaran, just berbuka sama the whole family.. We had meehoon sup, fruits and Chocolate Indulgence from Secret Recipe for dessert. I was thinking nak pergi pasar Ramadhan in the evening untuk beli kuih-kuih ke, tapi takut mcm membazir pulak. Better makan aje la apa yang ada..
