Well, kalau korang still ingat lagi aku ada bagitau yang the concept for our company's Annual Dinner this year is Red Carpet, ala-ala Oscar la lebih kurang. Last week the committee members had another meeting, berbincang dengan lebih detail. So bila dah detail tu, kena la ada 2 orang presenter kat luar dewan interview mereka-mereka yang datang; akan ada la nanti sesi puji-memuji baju yang dipakai tu lawa la, beli kat mana la, siapa designer la, bla bla bla. Exactly the same macam gambar Giuliana dengan Ryan yang kat atas tu la..

2 orang presenter tu adalah committee members jugak, sorang lelaki and sorang perempuan. And the best part was, AKU la yang diorang nominate untuk jadi presenter perempuan tu. Oh my..

Siap nak panggil videographer bagai, pegang mic and menceceh la ko kat situ depan camera. Sheesh! Just by typing this entry kaki tangan aku dah start sejuk dah. The last time aku jadi MC when I was 19 OK! Tu pun jadi MC untuk wedding family friend. Alahai..

Next week la I work on the script and all..

My weekend

Plan to go to Mid Valley with my auntie, tapi bila dah sampai kat sana punya la banyak kereta tengah queue nak masuk parking. Dasyat rupanya aku tengok, memang confirm la berjam kalau nak tunggu ada free spot. So we went to OU instead..

Kat OU pun lebih kurang sama jugak, kitorang berpusing-pusing entah berapa round entah untuk dapat parking. Haih!

My auntie nak beli barang-barang sekolah untuk anak-anak, aku pulak nak cari baju tidur untuk Umar. Kebanyakan baju tidur dia semuanya dah tak muat. Yang muat pun tinggal 2-3 helai aje. So aku masuk Mothercare sebab ada sale, tambah another 10% discount for members. Ha OK sangat la tu..

Masa tengah jalan-jalan tu pulak, aku ternampak boutique Osh Kosh. Masuk jugak! Tapi bersebab la kan :D

Nak belikan kasut si Umar tu ha. Aku rasa macam dah kecik aje kasut yang dia pakai tu. Size 3.. Ngam-ngan aje.. Aku ambik size 5 terus, boleh tahan lama sikit. One thing yang aku suka dengan kasut Osh Kosh ni sebab boleh ukur kaki kat tapak kasut tu..

Kita boleh tau la bila masanya nak tukar yang baru..

Makan-makan

Few weeks ago masa pergi Carrefour in Wangsa Maju with my auntie, we came across a restaurant called Jom Priok & Sedap Deli. Saja la nak give it a try, sebab dari luar nampak macam best aje. Ada steamboat and all..

Makanan kat situ OK la, ada rasa. Harga pun berpatutan..

Cuma the Spaghetti Bolognese punya portion kecik sangat la..
Tak puas :(

I was thinking nak order Chicken Chop tapi dah selalu sangat makan kan,
so I ordered the Meatballs instead.
Sauce tu I think diorang guna Spaghetti Bolognese punya sauce..
Memang layan bila cicah dengan garlic bread :)

It was last week if I'm not mistaken or is it last 2 weeks, seriously I can't remember. Ben and me, we had dinner at Rasa Nyonya, the one yang kat area Ukay Perdana tu. It is one of our favorite places to go for makan actually :)

Mulut bising sekarang ni, asyik nak ajak orang berborak aje :D
Kalau orang tak layan confirm menangis..
Suka dengar orang bercerita, macam faham aje la kan.
Busy body eh!

Mak told me that Umar dah meniarap,
and I was like wahhhhh! Mama tak dapat tengok :(
All this while aku nampak dia dah boleh mengiring sendiri aje..
Dah besar anak Mama..

Budak ni memang tak boleh duduk diam.
The only time yang dia diam bila dia tidur aje..
Eh tak jugak, berpusing macam ikut arah jam jugak aku tengok.
Masa mandikan dia lagi la, kalau la boleh memang dia nak kuak lentang aku rasa..

5) Extras, Extras!

At the moment hanya 4 accessories yang aku pakai:

Gold bangle from Habib Jewels and white gold earrings from Lazo Diamond,
the 4-in-1 necklace which Ben bought for me in Korea
and my wedding ring..

And 1 item that I always carry around wherever I go - my Oakley sunnies..

Rambut baru

Can't wait for Umar's 1st trip to the hair salon..
Haha!

I asked Vincent, my hairstylist to cut my hair a little bit shorter though. Tak tahan aku every time shampoo rambut, punya la banyak rambut aku gugur. Aku tengok pun, aku sendiri naik seram. Now bila dah pendek sikit, baru la nampak kurang walaupun masih ada rambut yang gugur..

4) Bags.

Invest in at least one high-quality leather bag
in a neutral color for work, and one casual tote for weekends.

As per today, I already have roughly around 15 handbags. Masih tak boleh lawan la sesetengah orang di luar sana :D Normally I will use satu-satu handbag tu dalam 2-3 minggu, then aku tukar..

And currently I'm using Coach Poppy Storypatch Glam Tote.. It's so spacious and I love everything about it!

3) Shoes.

There isn't any limit to how many pairs you can own, but here are a few basics:
black pumps to take you from day to night; ballet flats for casual wear;
dressy heels for cocktails; kitten heels that are work-appropriate yet comfy;
flat sandals for weekends; and one pair of look-at-me shoes
that show off your personality.

To tell you the truth, I'm not really a big fan of dressy heels or kitten heels or whatsoever. Reason being, kakiku besar.. Enough said! Nampak macam tak cantik pulak pakai kasut yang ala-ala comel-comel tu semua. That's why I prefer high heels and pumps more..

Must-haves include basic black and nude lingerie;
a slip to wear under dresses with no lining;
and every woman - no matter how slender -

I'm a huge fan of Xixili actually. Bila pakai tu rasa selesa betul. Aku ni kalau dah suka memang dah tak pandang brand lain lagi dah :D

And I've been thinking of buying Spanx Hide & Sleek Slip Suit for quite some time already. I don't know.. Should I? Aku takut kalau la dah beli nanti, bila pakai tak selesa ke.. When I read the reviews on the Internet, of course la ada the Pro and Cons kan. Hmmm.. Will decide whether to get it or not later..

Today I would like to share with you guys, an article which I came across in The Malaysian Women's Weekly (September 2010 issue):

Here are key items every woman should have in their wardrobe!

I'll make it part by part la ye, so senang sikit kalau you all nak refer..

1) The basics.

Staples include a classic white shirt, a tailored suit, a figure-flattering black dress,
one colored cocktail dress, a perfect pair of jeans and basic tees.

I have this 1 pair of jeans, which I bought at Blook Bangsar in 2008 and it still fits me until now which is one of my favorites :) It's stretchable and so comfortable..

Oh it reminds me to get a new pair la,
from Marks & Spencer perhaps..

Spend time with my baby..

Ben outstation lagi this weekend. Kali ni dia ke Sungai Petani, Seberang Prai and Georgetown pulak untuk event Astro yang "Anda Ada 60 Saat" tu. Seriously both of us can't wait for him to come back on Monday :)

And currently I'm staying in my auntie's place in Ampang. At least takde la aku boring sangat. Kebetulan anak-anak my auntie memang suka melayan si Umar, lagi berambah la Umar punya mengada kan sebab my 2 cousins tu dok berborak la menyanyi la dengan dia..

Oh, gambar yang kat atas tu when I was playing with him while watching TV.. One of his favorite soft toy, Mr. Caterpillar :D

Munch on snack..

Amboi gambar kat atas tu.. Bukan main leka lagi aku mengunyah :D Lepas tu dok memekak badan dah macam tong la, pinggang dah kembang la.. Tapi takpe, nak kurus mesti ada cara kan? Tu lain hari kita boleh cerita ye?

Well, one of my favorite snacks are kerepek pisang. Lagi nipis and crunchy, lagi bagus! Tapi susah la nak cari kerepek pisang yang betul-betul sedap kat sini. Dulu aku selalu beli from a friend of mine, tapi jual kat her hometown in JB la.. Takkan dia nak ulang-alik KL-JB semata-mata untuk belikan aku kerepek pisang pulak kan? Over tau..

But now aku dah tak gusar dah nak carik something to munch every time lepak-lepak tengok TV. Aku dah ada popia simpul inti serunding ikan :D

Popia simpul ni pun kalau tak betul-betul kita akan dapat yang tak sedap and sometimes ada rasa/bau hapak OK. Memang potong selera la kan.. Tapi yang aku makan ni memang best! Inti serunding ikan tu pun sedap..
