New hair

Dari hari tu Ben dok suruh aku perm rambut aku ni. Tapi bila aku fikir balik the maintenance lepas dah perm tu nanti, tu yang buat aku senyap aje tu.. Dulu pernah la aku buat digital perm sekali. Malas nak jaga, terus kering kontang rambut aku..

I was thinking nak trim rambut sikit, Ben suggest alang-alang buat aje la perm tu. OK la, tak kisah la apa-apa kan..

So I went to see Vincent, dia pulak kata dia tak nak buat digital perm untuk aku sebab nanti rambut aku lagi rosak. Dia buat body perm instead..

I like the outcome very much. The curl pun besar-besar.. Tak tau la sampai bila boleh tahan :D

Department gathering for New Year

Since my boss will be on leave for the whole week, we decided that we are going to have a makan-makan and tukar-tukar hadiah session on Monday. Kitorang semua kena beli something yang below RM10, then cabut nama. Saja la suka-suka :D

I managed to buy the present pun at the very last minute on Sunday night tu. Tapi simple aje la.. Aku nampak, terus aku grab..

Before tukar-tukar hadiah tu we all makan dulu. We had Domino's.. Banyak betul makanan sebab kitorang boleh pilih sorang satu pizza apa yang kitorang nak :D

Masa tengah cabut nama tu kan, aku dengan boss aku aje yang dapat nama sendiri. Hahahahaha! So kitorang tukar la sesama sendiri, dia dapat la notebook keychain aku tu. And aku dapat her alarm clock. Ha elok sangat la tu, takde alasan bangun lambat ke apa dah lepas ni :D

Restoran Cosy Place

Had dinner with Chot and Inaz that day at Restoran Cosy Place near Wangsa Walk Mall..

I like the interior, ala-ala English style..

The food was OK - mine, that is. Hahahahahaha! I ordered Seafood Pasta and it was marvelous. Patutnya Ben yang nak order tu, tapi dia nak mintak tukar dengan daging la apa la. Dah terang-terang kat dalam menu tu tulis SEAFOOD kan. So he ordered the Chicken Chop instead. Bad choice! Tak sedap langsung.. At last he finished all my food :(

By the time we finished dinner, aku try lagi sekali untuk pegang si Qaseh.. Still dia tak nak. Tapi dia gelak-gelak la everytime aku agah..

Asyik la dok melekat dengan Uncle Ben dia..

She's big already!

Remember Baby Qaseh? Dah besar dah dia sekarang, and dah pandai kenal orang. Rasanya 2 bulan kot aku dengan Ben tak datang jumpa dia. So masa kitorang mula-mula sampai tu agak kuat jugak la dia melalak. Hahahahahaha! Tapi tak lama lepas tu dia OK la.. Siap boleh gelak-gelak lagi :D

ps. Tapi yang tak bestnya kan, si Qaseh ni dah tak suka kat aku. Dulu pantang aku hulur tangan, confirm dia nak. Sekarang ni bila aku nak ambik, confirm dia menangis. Dia nak kat ben aje :(

Tak kenang budi..

I was talking to a friend a few months back regarding her problem with her own parents.. Biasa la kan, sometimes kita tak selalunya agree dengan apa yang parents kita cakap or buat. In my opinion, kita sebagai anak yang sepatutnya mengalah. Then bila masing-masing dah sejuk sikit, waktu tu la we talk about whatever we feel - rationally. Don't you agree?

Even though we and our parents berlainan pendapat, we have no right to scold them or raise our voice at them. Sekarang ni macam dah terbalik pulak.. Bila aku cerita about this matter, ni untuk ingatkan aku jugak. I'm not perfect, and aku tak selalunya betul. Tu sebab kena dengar cakap orang-orang tua, bukan asyik nak melenting aje..

Semua experience that I've been through in life sedikit sebanyak taught me a lot of things. Walau macam mana teruk pun our parents tu, kita fikir aje la semua pengorbanan diorang tu kat kita selama ni. Aku paling takut digelar anak tak kenang budi.....

ps. Jangan mengeluh kalau mak bapak mintak pertolongan (especially dari segi kewangan). Tolong aje dengan ikhlas.. Confirm lagi bertambah-tambah rezeki tu..

OGAWA SMART MATE Massage Chair sudah sampai :D

Like I mentioned at this entry, the SMART MATE Massage Chair arrived on Thursday. Kebetulan masa tu aku dah dalam kereta nak balik, diorang call bagitau dah dekat nak sampai..

We (Ben and me) decided that it's better to put it kat rumah Keramat :) Takpe la, at least ramai boleh guna. Takut kang kalau letak kat rumah kitorang nanti, buat collect habuk aje..

Masa ni aku tengah explore semua function yang ada

It really helps to have a massage chair at home actually. Especially bila tengah sakit-sakit badan tu, takde la pening kepala where to find tukang urut yang bagus and all. Come to think of it, aku still lagi macam tak percaya aje yang aku dapat massage chair worth RM9000++ for free! Dah rezeki kan, siapa sangka boleh menang pulak Best Creative Blog..

Once again, I would like to thank OGAWA for choosing me to be the winner! And yang paling penting sekali, aku happy bila tengok muka-muka ceria family aku semua bila massage chair tu sampai :D Berebut-rebut nak ambik number untuk tunggu turn segala bagai. Hahahahaha! Small things yang macam ni la merapatkan lagi hubungan kitorang sekeluarga :)

Practice -Part 3-

So yesterday we had our 3rd practice. Tapi kali ni kitorang tak buat kat office, sebab banyak sangat mata-mata kan. Kata nak bagi surprise on the Annual Dinner tu nanti..

And kitorang dapat a little bit of help on the choreography from cikgu menari aku masa kat Frankfurt dulu. Lepas aje dia habis kerja terus dia datang ke lokasi..

Semua dah settle, sekarang ni tinggal nak ajar mereka-mereka yang tak dapat nak datang practise semalam.. Lega!

Sementara nak tunggu Abang Talif sampai,
kasi test lagu dulu..

I just received a call from OGAWA people

Birthday lunch

Rasa macam dah lama aje aku tak letak gambar makanan kat blog ni :D Kalau dulu asyik la cerita pasal makan..

Tengahari semalam ada buat makan-makan kat office sempena untuk staff yang celebrate birthday in October, November and December. Makanan yang ada pun macam meriah sikit dari selalu sebab ada sate..

Aku tak sure apa nama dua-dua cake tu tapi sedap jugak la..
Cuma agak manis sikit..

Sate daging tu pulak liat semacam..
Nak tertanggal rasanya braces aku ni ha..

Melampau betul la..

Have you guys read The Star today - cerita tentang seorang budak lelaki yang kena dera dengan his mother's boyfriend?

KUCHING: A five-year-old boy in Bintulu sustained multiple injuries to his face and body after he was allegedly abused by his mother’s live-in boyfriend.

The mother claimed that her 36-year-old lover had injured the boy’s neck with burning cigarette butts, splashed hot water on his face and used a book stapler on his arms and legs on several occasions.

The boy, the youngest of four siblings, is of Chinese-Bidayuh parentage.

His parents divorced two years ago, and his 32-year-old mother started a new life with her lover in a squatter colony early this year.

In the latest incident on Saturday morning, the mother said her lover had forcefully rubbed the boy’s face and head in a pool of urine on the floor of their home.

The frightened boy has earlier urinated on the floor after he was beaten up for crying.

Severe fresh injuries on the boy’s face, mouth and left side of his forehead were seen when his mother brought him along to lodge a report at the Bintulu police station several hours after the man left home.

Police later sent the boy, who was shaken by the inhumane treatment, to the hospital for medical examination and treatment.

The boy’s alleged abuser has been arrested.

Seriously aku geram.. Kalau aku la jadi mak budak tu, then boyfriend aku kononnya la usik aje sikit anak aku tu memang kena hempuk dengan aku. Kau yang takde kena-mengena pulak nak lebih-lebih. Dalam gambar pun dah macam muka penyangak aku tengok!

Simple ceremony @ Nuffnang office

Since I started blogging, hadiah from OGAWA la hadiah yang paling besar dan yang paling mahal aku pernah dapat :) Alhamdulillah.. Rezeki tahun baru :D Aku sendiri pun tak sangka, because I didn't even expect to win. As the saying goes la kan, amazing things happen when you least expect them..

Anyway.. Last Thursday I have to be at Nuffnang office at 10.30am sebab the client nak buat a simple ceremony, ambik-ambik gambar. All that stuff la kan, untuk penyampaian hadiah..

Ben and me arrived a few minutes before 10.30 and the client tak sampai lagi so Jestina introduced me to everybody in the office.. So sweet of her :) What I like about the environment there kan, suasana senyap aje.. Boleh dikatakan aman la nak buat kerja. Kalau kat office tempat aku kerja ni la, sampai bergegar bangunan tu dek suara kitorang aje. Hahahahahahaha!

Not long after that the client and Boss Tim arrived, we chatted a little bit and went straight to business..

I think Robb was explaining to me that the paper bag is

They're not going to say like,
"Nah, take you chair!"
(They had few paper bags masa tu tau, and I thought I will get one. Haha!)

Practice -Part 2-

Yesterday we had another practice.. So far we all dah dapat steps for the whole song, unlike the previous session kan. Aku nak create steps yang gempak-gempak pun, aku sendiri tengah takde idea.. Takpe la, just make do with whatever we have. Mana la tau, even though the steps are simple but if we dance passionately it will turn out great.. Hopefully :D

I wish WE ALL can dance like the dancers in the video below. Dream Liza, dream!

I'm speechless :D When Ben told me about it couple of days ago, "I ada berita baik.. Macam mana kalau I bagitau you yang you menang **********??" I was like, seriouslyyyyyyyyyy??!! No wonder la I got a few missed call hari tu, aku tak sempat nak angkat sebab tengah busy practice dancing untuk Annual Dinner.. Tak dapat aku, they called Ben instead..

It's not that I don't want to tell you guys about it, aku menang apa and all.. Bila hadiah tu dah ada kat tangan aku, baru la best nak reveal :D

Practice -Part 1-

Yesterday we had our 1st practice.. What can I say? Steps yang we all dapat tak sampai ke chorus pun. Hahahahahaha! I have the video of it but no way I'm gonna put it here. Hahahahahaha!

Unless kalau movement dah sharp macam pisau, then maybe I'll think about it :D

Fame!

There will be an opening permorfance performance masa Annual Dinner company tempat aku kerja ni nanti..

Hari tu my boss suggested to all committees during one of their meeting yang dia nak setiap department buat satu persembahan tapi macam tak dilayan aje. So aku pun merengek bagi la idea kat dia yang aku nak ambik somebody from each department untuk menari masa opening. Dalam kepala memang dah terfikir la siapa kan.. Luckily she liked the idea :)

The reason being aku insist jugak memujuk merayu mereka-mereka yang aku rasa berpotensi ni (hahahahahahaha!) sebab aku rasa this is something different. Imagine muka bangga bos-bos, at least nampak la kitorang ni ada teamwork walaupun berlainan department..

Bukan senang OK nak convince diorang ni, tapi ada jugak la yang aku tak expect akan join they agree to give it a shot :D Tapi aku kena rahsiakan la nama-nama dancers, so on the day itself baru la semua orang tau siapa..

Oh, lupa nak bagitau.. Kitorang akan buat lagu Fame. And that's what my Facebook status is all about, tengah excited ni dowh :D More updates on the dancing team soon ;)

Back to basic

Since I lost my make-up bag last week, terpaksa la pergi office dengan muka yang.. Tak tau la nak cakap. I feel so naked I tell you..

People were asking me "Laaaaa macam mana boleh hilang??" Haih! As far as I remember, masa dalam kereta on the way nak balik rumah tu still ada. Aku ingat lagi, i put it on my lap. Most probably terjatuh masa nak turun kereta tu la agaknya tapi aku tak sedar..

Terdiam tak terkata aku dibuatnya bila semua make-up dah takde. Have to buy a new one la kan.. Nasib baik jugak la sekarang ni tengah sale sana-sini :D Tapi merangkak jugak la nak start all over again. Aku beli apa yang perlu aje la dulu..

I went to Elianto that day, memang tengah sale so berbaloi la kalau nak beli pun kan..

Geram aje aku tengok :D Kalau ikutkan hati semuanya aku nak beli.. Masa tu most of the items ada discount 50%. Heaven!

But I just bought the 2-way foundation and mascara..

Altogether aku spend not more than 50 bucks which is OK la untuk permulaan :D Lepas ni aku target nak beli blusher pulak..

* Jalan cerita pun menarik, takde la mengantuk masa baca tu..

Tak terasa..

Kejap aje dah December kan? Tak lama lagi dah new year.. New resolutions.. There'll be a few events this year and next year that I'm looking forward to - the company's Annual Dinner (tengah excited tunggu e-mail from the committee about the theme), Langkawi trip, I got an invitation to a beauty workshop, my brother-in-law's wedding, etc..

Come to think of it, boleh tahan jugak banyaknya belanja nanti. Have to think how to minimize expenses la kalau macam ni. Take Langkawi trip for an example.. This one is definitely tak payah nak beli baju baru segala bagai la kan. Pakai apa yang ada, cuma kena sediakan duit for shopping aje la :D Tapi tu pun tak boleh over spend.. (Baru berangan nak beli corning ware)

For the Annual Dinner, kalau la theme Movie and Cartoon Character yang naik.. Character apa la yang aku nak jadi (Please don't say I should be a "joker" again Sha. Hahahaha!)? Dah confirm memang kena sewa baju!

Halim's wedding in March 2009 - 3 colors (Yeay! Deep inside my heart aku memang suka part beli kain ni sebenarnya).. Perkara kecik aje tu kot. I'll make sure the kain that I bought are worth every penny ;)
